Peace

I made this recently for my grandmother. I took up cross stitching because I love all the pieces of it she did over the years that now fill up her house. She doesn't know I do this as a hobby though so I think she'll be surprised. I borrowed the dove pattern from a free one I found online and got the text from a cross stitch text generator so I can't really share the pattern since none of it is my own. I have no idea what I'm going to do next. I'm still recovering from a week spent with 10 two year old rambunctious kids at Vacation Bible School and thoroughly enjoying just laying in bed while listening to music. I do have a lot of unfinished patterns and thoughts so maybe I'll revisit one of those soon.

A Little Recognition

I haven't been posting or crafting much this year, but I do have some exciting news to share. My cross stitch pieces of Pinky and the Brain were featured on Craftster and my Tetris magnets were featured on Sprite Stitch. Both sites are full of such talented and creative people that I feel honored (and surprised!) to have anything I make noticed by them.

Pac-Man Love

I haven't been crafting much recently due to being busy with other things so I thought I would share the first thing I made for my boyfriend. It is a magnet done on 14 ct plastic canvas and made especially for Valentine's Day.

TRON

In honor of the movie that is coming out Dec. 17, I quickly made this pattern the other day. Enjoy!

Naughty or Nice?

It's a lump of coal. Not everyone deserves a pretty present at Christmas.

Tetris Magnets

Inspired by a post at Geek Crafts, I started making my own set of tetris magnets a long time ago. Of course, I had to complicate things by painting each and every individual block, which took forever, but my first set is finally done!
